We have been clearing 8 acres of neglected, overgrown brush and converting much of the manzanita, oak and pine to woodstove-sized firewood. Since much of the work is best done in the field, we decided to try this circular saw because of its portability and relatively safe operation in our fire-prone area. We've given it a full workout for several days, operating it without a break for an hour at a time and up to 4 hours/day. I get about 1 hour's work (no breaks) from each battery. It is easy and safe to operate, even for a senior citizen with limited experience with power tools. I have no complaints about its performance and am impressed with how far battery-operated tools have come.
